Buddhism

After grappling with my own mental health challenges, alongside talking therapy/Counselling I sought an alternative path and enrolled in a 4-week meditation course at Brentwood Buddhist Community. The experience of delving into meditation and Buddhism proved to be profoundly transformative for me. I decided to further explore the philosophy and practice of meditation, with a particular focus on the Esoteric Hamni Practices.

In 2018, I achieved the status of an Ordained Disciple under the guidance of Vajra Acarya Chanzhi Decheng, also known as Sifu Dan. This marked a significant milestone in my journey. I was entrusted with the privilege of guiding members of the public through the profound “Six Dharmas of the Lotus Family” meditation practices.

My mission has expanded to include organizing ‘Well-being’ days and meditation classes. Additionally, I am actively engaged in sharing these teachings with various organizations such as schools, Scouts, Cubs, and more. My goal is to provide a general introduction to Buddhism and meditation to a broader audience.

I firmly believe that the inner voyage of self-discovery inherent in Buddhist philosophy aligns harmoniously with the transformative journey often undertaken through therapy and counselling.
